A wedding in 24 photos.
Of late, I’ve been inspired to focus less on production quantity and more on production integrity. My goal is to curate a final gallery of images that exudes depth, authenticity, and the full dynamic range of emotions embodied on my clients’ wedding days. I’m challenging myself to tell a full wedding story in 24 photos. This process feels like the antithesis of what we’ve been taught to value as an industry and client base. While my final galleries include hundreds of images, those, too, have been streamlined. I’m far less interested in delivering 1,500 images now than I was three years ago. I ask myself before, during, and after each wedding day: how I can most honestly and colorfully tell this imperfect and blissfully unique story?
Elizabeth and Patrick were married in Austin, Texas at The Contemporary – Laguna Gloria, a former art museum surrounded by acres of lush gardens. Elizabeth wore a Monique L’Huillier gown coated in butterflies and floras that impeccably blended into their venue’s surroundings.
